Activities

Tanzania has a range of different activities to cater for both exhiliration and relaxation which differ based on region and lodge.

Game drives

Game drives are offers at all our bush camps (ie. all except Mnemba Island).

They have very different characteristics due to differing terrain and wildlife in each of the different regions.

&Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge:

The camp is located on the rim of the crater and drives take a significant amount of time to reach the crater's floor, so guests are typically offered either a single morning game drive or afternoon game drive per day.  Expect lush forests, flamingoes, grazing herbivores and predators that are attracted by their prey.

&Beyond Serengeti Grumeti River Lodge:

Twice-daily game drives, with sunrise and sundowner stops. A classic big 5 safari experience.
